Privacy Policy

Metaltellus is operated by OLIGOP PTE. LTD. (UEN 202613902K), a company incorporated in Singapore with registered office at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04, Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914 ("Metaltellus", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use www.metaltellus.com or place an order, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

We try to collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for marketing.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your shipping address and phone number (the phone number is required by most couriers for delivery)

  • Your order details (what you bought, when, for how much)

When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe returns to us only a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card.

When you visit the site, our hosting platform (Squarespace) automatically records standard server/analytics data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar. This is used to keep the site running and to understand basic traffic patterns. Squarespace also sets cookies — you can control these through your browser settings.

We do not run a newsletter, do not send marketing emails, and do not share your data with advertising networks.

Why we collect it

We use your data only to:

  1. Fulfil your order (print, pack, ship, and confirm delivery).

  2. Reply to you if you contact us for support.

  3. Meet Singapore legal and tax record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

Your data is shared only with the parties we need to get your poster to you:

  • Stripe — payment processing.

  • The shipping carrier (e.g. local post, DHL, or similar) — name, address, phone number for delivery.

  • Squarespace — site hosting and order management.

  • Singapore authorities — only if required by law (e.g. tax audit, court order).

We do not share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for five years after the order date, which is the retention period required by Singapore tax law (Income Tax Act, section 67). After that, we delete them.

Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve the conversation, then deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you.

  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.

  • Withdraw consent for us to use your data (though this means we cannot fulfil an open order).

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR / UK GDPR also gives you the right to data portability, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), and to object to processing. We will honour these requests.

Children

Our product is often bought for children, but we sell only to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version here. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
